Candle Safety
Follow these guidelines to safely enjoy your candle:

- When burning the candle for the first time, allow the wax to melt to the sides of the glass, this may take 3-4 hours.
- Trim candle wick to ¼ inch before each use.
- Keep the candle free of any debris such as wick trimmings, matches and dust.
- Burn the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
- Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
- Always burn the candle within sight.
- Keep the candle out of the reach from children and pets.
- Never leave the candle burning when leaving the house or going to sleep.
- Keep the burning candle away from flammable objects such as drapes, paper, etc.
- Discontinue burning the candle when ½ inch of wax remains.
- Keep the burning candle away from drafty areas, like fans and vents.
- Don’t burn too many candles in a small room.
- Never touch or move a burning candle when the wax is liquid.
- Allow the candle to cool completely before handling.
- Use a snuffer to extinguish candles.
- Never extinguish candles with water.
